Hamburg, Germany: Baloch Nation Movement (BNM) Germany zone held a protest demonstration at Hamburg city hall, Germany today on 9 August 2015. A large number of Baloch activists participated in the demonstration and expressed their anger against Pakistani state, which is committing atrocity against the Baloch populace.

The participants were carrying placards in which one read “Awaran is Kobani”. BNM also distributed a pamphlet written in German among the observing public.

It is worth mentioning here that Awaran operation started on July 18, 2015 when innocents Baloch were celebrating Eid ul Fitr. Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets and gunship helicopters bombarded several villages of Awaran District, since then all these villages are cordoned off and the local population is forced to migrate. A number of these villagers are killed, injured and abducted. The abductees are kept at unknown garrisons and torture chambers of Pakistan Army and Inter-Services Intelligence.

German public were informed about situation in Balochistan they were told about total media blackout all over Balochistan as well as Awaran so the losses are not being reported nationwide or internationally.

Baloch nationalists and Human Rights activists expressed their grave concern about the situation in Balochistan because of siege of several villages and forced migration of local inhabitants. They fear that siege of 23 days of several villages after bombardment in Awaran suspects that they have killed a large number in bombardment and trying to hide their crime.

Makuran, Awaran, Mastung, Kohlu and Dera Bugti are areas from where about 0.3 million people have migrated to different parts of Balochistan, Sindh and Panjab. The number of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) increasing day by day. It is the time for international community, world powers, United Nations and human rights organizations to intervene and stop #BalochGenocide by rogue Pakistan army.
