BNM Highlights Dangers About Nuclearized Pakistan In Balochistan

The Baloch diaspora has staged demonstrations in various European countries to commemorate as a “Black Day” the 25th anniversary of Pakistani Nuclear tests in occupied Balochistan and urged global organizations, like the UN and IAEA, to send teams to the region to assess the extent of damage caused by those explosions.

The participants in these demonstrations, organized by Baloch National Movement (BNM), highlighted that the radiation caused by the atomic explosions at Chaghai in Balochistan by Pakistan on May 28, 1998, was still affecting people and the environment in that region.

Pakistan Depriving Baloch Children Of Education: BNM Report

Shaal (Balochistan): Pakistan, the illegal occupant of Balochistan, is depriving the local children of education, a pro-freedom group saying that at least 76 schools have been shut down or converted into military posts in just two Tehsils of one district of the annexed Province.

While 13 schools have been closed in Mashkhai Tehsil of Awaran district, 63 schools in Awaran Tehsil are facing the same situation, according to Baloch National Movement (BNM).

According to the Department of Social Welfare of BNM, which has prepared the report, these actions reflect Pakistan’s colonial system and approach to education in Balochistan, proving the suppression of consciousness.

Baloch human rights abuses by Pakistan echo in UK parliament, lobbying by activists pay off

The human rights abuses by the Pakistani State in its estranged province of Balochistan through enforced disappearances, torture, and summary executions have been noticed by British members of parliament. In the past few weeks, MPs have asked the government about its policy regarding the disputed region.

On March 10, Pete Wishart of the Scottish National Party asked the British foreign ministry – the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, “… whether his Department has made an assessment of the implications for its policies of the human rights situation in the Pakistani region of Balochistan, including the potential occurrence of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial executions, and honour killings”.

China-Pakistan Alliance A Direct Attack On Baloch Human Rights: Dr. Naseem Baloch

Geneva: Chairman of the Baloch National Movement, Dr. Naseem Baloch, has said that The Chinese-Pakistan alliance not only threatens Western interests but also directly attacks the basic human rights of the Baloch people.

He said this while addressing a side event during the 52nd regular session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nation. It was organized by the Coordination of Associations and Individuals for Freedom of Conscience (CAP).

Achakzai’s statement creates contradiction between Baloch and Pashtun – BNM

The spokesperson of the Baloch National Movement said that Mehmood Khan Achakzai has tried to create sharp resentment between the Baloch and Pashtun brotherly nations by talking about the restoration of the so-called British Balochistan under the name of Afghaniya. This would only benefit Punjabis, the occupying and colonial power. It would draw a gulf between the brotherly nations.

“All those existing problems between Baloch and Pashtun are the creation of the British empire, including two major issues of the Durand line and the McMahon Line, both chalked out by the British.”

Shaheed Lala Hameed Baloch was born in Haji Hayatan’s home on 8th February of 1985. He got his early education in Govt Modal High school Gwadar. He hailed to a political family. The Shaheed was involved in politics in his school days. He started his political career from BSO (Aman). He was elected as student leader in his college days. He was also elected as member of Public Safety Commission introduced in Musharaf’s era.
