Rights Groups Tie Pakistan to Militants’ Disappearances

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is expressing alarm over reports that thousands of political separatists and captured Taliban insurgents have disappeared into the hands of Pakistan’s police and security forces, and that some may have been tortured or killed.

Occupied Balochistan: Four dead bodies of missing persons have been found from different areas in Balochistan. The deceased have been identified and Baloch Nationalists protested against the continued recovery of the bodies of abducted Baloch political activists.

The vice chairperson of BSO-azaad said that Pakistan government has intensified it atrocities in Balochistan, anyone who raises voice for freedom is not safe any longer, the world should acknowledge Baloch National struggle. If the international community fails to take notice of state atrocities then peace in the region will be impossible and trade deals will not be allowed.

Yet another bullet riddled body of a Baloch youth found

Occupied Balochistan: The levy forces found a brutally tortured body near Koshik on Quetta-Taftan road. They shifted the body to district head quarter Mastung for identification.

According to eye-witnesses the body of the Baloch youth bore marks of sever torture and he had been shot in the head. His body was found in a deserted area on Quetta-Taftan road. The already desperate and worried family of missing persons rushed to head quarters but nobody recognised him. Later the victim’s body had been shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.

The Baloch have suffered immeasurably for their rights and there seems to be no end to it because there is a systematic and concerted attempt to thwart the Baloch attempts to secure these rights. In such a scenario, speaking about ‘new social contracts’ is absolutely futile

Balochistan’s Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani recently stressed that, “No compromise would be made on the provincial autonomy issue and rights of the nations” and demanded a “new social contract” to resolve the Balochistan issue. However, he did not elaborate what form or shape this new ‘social contract’ would take and on whose behest and behalf it was being demanded.

Two Baloch missing person bullet-riddled bodies recovered in Turbat
