Over 600 Baluch Killed By Iran’s Regime Last Year: Monitor
Halvash website which covers events in Iran’s Baluchistan says in its annual report that 628 Baluch citizens were killed directly or indirectly by the Islamic Republic agents in the past Iranian year that ended on March 20.
According to the report, 182 Baluch people were executed in 23 prisons across Iran, out of which about 81% were drug-related cases.
At least 167 others have died due to the direct gunfire by military agents in the Sistan-Baluchistan province.Continue reading
REMEMBERING MARCH 27, 1948

The fall of the Baloch state in 1948 as a consequence of the creation of Pakistan is a unique phenomenon in the world’s political history. It is an amazing episode reminding us how the rivalry of great powers can cause collateral damage and far-reaching consequences. The division of India and the creation of Pakistan, which caused the demise of the newly independent Baloch state, is tragic to the Baloch. Still, it will be a great addition to interesting events in the annals of history.
Creation of Pakistan in context
During the 19th century, in the face of the continued advances of Russia in Central Asia and the presumed threat to India from the north, safeguarding Indian possessions became the obsession of policy planners in London and New Delhi. Afghanistan and Persia were vulnerable spots for them, and if they (Russians) successfully gained control of these countries, the next Russian target would undoubtedly be India. A “great game” of espionage and subversion began in regions bordering Russia, the Middle East and British India. To make a physical barrier around the north and west of India was postulated, popularly known as the “Forward Policy”.Continue reading

Geneva: Chairman of the Baloch National Movement, Dr. Naseem Baloch, has said that The Chinese-Pakistan alliance not only threatens Western interests but also directly attacks the basic human rights of the Baloch people.

Baloch Protesters Flood Zahedan Streets; Sunni Cleric Urges Leadership To Listen To The People
Thousands of Baloch protesters returned to the streets of Zahedan on March 24, as the southeastern city’s Sunni Friday prayer leader reiterated his call on the country’s Shia establishment to heed the “legitimate demands of the majority of the people.”
Each week, Zahedan residents have been holding protest rallies after Friday prayers led by Molavi Abdolhamid, Iran’s most prominent Sunni cleric.
In his latest sermon, Molavi said the authorities have “mishandled” the anti-government protests that have swept Iran for more than six months and that “it would have been fitting for them to listen to the concerns of the people.”Continue reading

In the backdrop of international conflicts and trade wars lies a forgotten piece of history and land called Balochistan, rapidly becoming the centre of a storm brewing for the last seventy years with the potential to change the political map and the course of history. This is the story of one Baloch family, their heroic resistance to military occupation and their death in defending their land.

Tribute to Shaheed Darman Baloch, Nako Muhammad Saleh and Sabro Baloch. BLF
Major Ghoram Baloch, the spokesman for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), said in a statement released to the media that our Sarmachars (freedom fighters) had a bloody clash with the occupying army on March 18, in which three Sarmachars were martyred. Many Pakistani army personnel have been killed or injured in this clash.
According to the statement, the organization’s comrades clashed with Pakistani forces while patrolling in the Zarbari Koh (hills) of Awaran. Three Sarmachars were martyred in this brutal encounter. The Pakistani army’s brutality continues in these areas. The ground and air attacks also resulted in the martyrdom of a shepherd named Allah Dad Baloch, while his brother and three other shepherds were abducted. Allah Dad was martyred as punishment for his sincerity and honesty as a Baloch.Continue reading
