Pakistan Depriving Baloch Children Of Education: BNM Report

Shaal (Balochistan): Pakistan, the illegal occupant of Balochistan, is depriving the local children of education, a pro-freedom group saying that at least 76 schools have been shut down or converted into military posts in just two Tehsils of one district of the annexed Province.

While 13 schools have been closed in Mashkhai Tehsil of Awaran district, 63 schools in Awaran Tehsil are facing the same situation, according to Baloch National Movement (BNM).

According to the Department of Social Welfare of BNM, which has prepared the report, these actions reflect Pakistan’s colonial system and approach to education in Balochistan, proving the suppression of consciousness.

Zahadan: 41 Baloch Female Students Fainted Due To Poisonous Gas

Iran-administered Balochistan reported its first case of student poisoning on March 7, 2023.

On March 7, Ali Abdol Rezagh Nejad, crisis secretary at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, announced that 41 students suffering from nausea and abdominal pain were transferred to medical centers throughout Zahedan. 

The first incident of poisoning of female schools came to light in November last year, and since then dozens of girls’ schools across Iran have been attacked with poisonous materials.

Qambar Chakar: A Man and a Myth

Birth of a Leader

In Shahi Tump, a far-flung town of Balochistan in Kech (Turbat) district, the house of Chakar Baloch was overflowed with merriness and gleaming lights over the birth of the first son, Qambar. The boy was to become an inspriational leader for the Baloch people soon after entering his teen ages. One day, some ill-fated soldiers of darkness would walk, take this light away to the shadow of torture and death. His was a story of celebrations in unison. When he was born, the whole family, even the entire town cheered up with uncontrollable delight. When he was killed, the whole of Balochistan wept. His was a song of happiness and a melancholy.

Four more Baloch youths go missing from Karachi

Baloch youths continue to go missing unabated from Karachi. Homes have been raided in different localities in Karachi and four Baloch youth have been taken into custody and shifted to unknown locations.

At around 5 pm on 7 June 2022, Doda Baloch son of Elahi Bakhsh and his department fellow student Gamshad Baloch son of Sattar Baloch were forcibly disappeared by intelligence and security forces personnel at a house in Maskan Chowrangi area of ​​Karachi.

Balochistan: Female educationist forcibly evicted from her house

BALOCHISTAN: The Pakistani police have forcibly evicted a female educationist from her house on Sunday in the city of Quetta – the capital of Balochistan.

Sources reported that the police raided the house of Prof. Dr Shagufta Iqbal in her absence and tried to arrest her son. The police barged into her house without any search warrant and threatened her children before throwing her belongings outside.
