Kech: Six Officers, Including A Major Of Pak Army, Killed In An Attack. BLF

Major Ghoram Baloch, the Balochistan Liberation Front’s (BLF) spokesperson, said in a statement to the media that the BLF’s Sarmachars (freedom fighters) ambushed and attacked the Pakistani army’s motorcycle convoy in the Kech district of Balochistan.

The Sarmachars, according to the statement, ambushed a convoy of seven occupying military motorcycles in Tehing, which is located in Kolwah between Balor and Sigik. Six personnel were killed instantly and numerous more suffered injuries when the two motorbikes in the convoy’s front were heavily attacked while the motorcycles in the back were unable to escape the ambush. Saqib, a Major, is one of the deceased. The attack’s video will be released soon.

Because it is located along Route Section M8 of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, he stated that the area is the target of intense military aggression. Military operations are carried out regularly, harassing civilians in the name of security while forcing out the local population.

The Pakistani army aims to make it easier to exploit the Baloch resources by eliminating the local population in Balochistan. We warn China that investing in the CPEC and other Balochistan projects will be a losing proposition. They ought to stop aiding Pakistan in its genocide of the Baloch. No project in Balochistan can be completed without the nation’s will and intention.

In a statement acknowledging the event, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, said that its forces were attacked in the Hoshab area of the Kech district. “As a result of heavy exchange of fire, Major Saqib Hussain and Naik Baqir Ali embraced Shahadat, while another soldier got injured,” the ISPR said.
