Major Ghram Baloch, the spokesman of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), has said in a statement released to the media that Sarmachar Lt. Miran Baloch Aka Shahdad son of Saleh Muhammad residence of Tump Gomazai was martyred on June 21, 2023, after an illness.
He said that Miran Baloch was a very hardworking, talented leader. Due to his hard work, and dedication, he held an important position among his colleagues. He held the rank of lieutenant in the organization. He has been involved in the armed struggle for freedom from the platform of BLF since 2008. He was assigned the responsibilities of the network commander at Gomazai in 2013. He remained in the same position until 2016 but left for treatment due to illness. In 2019, he was given second-in-command duties at Camp Kalber.
The spokesman said that Shaheed Miran participated in organizational operations in different areas of Balochistan including Siyaji, Mazan Band, Mishke, Kalbar, Zamoran, and Buleda, and has fulfilled his duty in defense of the motherland by fighting against the enemy on many fronts. His untimely death has created a great void.
He said that BLF pays rich tribute to him. We pledge that the mission of martyrs will continue till the goal is achieved
