Nawab Bugti Remembered by the Baloch and Sindhis in the UK

A remembrance meeting in London paid high tribute to Nawab Akber Bugti on his 4th martyrdom anniversary. The function was organized by the Baloch Human Rights Council (UK) and World Sindhi Congress in the LondonUniversity Union Building on Sunday 29th August 2010. The meeting was presided over by the Baloch intellectual & writer and the Coordinator of Sindhi Baloch forum Dr. Naseer Dashti and was attended by a large number of Baloch, Sindhis and other human rights activists in the UK. Samad Baloch General Secretary BHRC (UK) conducted the proceedings of the meeting.

شہید اکبر یوم شہادت: بلوچستان میں مکمل ہڑتال، شاہرائیں بلاک، آشوبی تقریبات

نواب اکبر خان بگٹی کی چوتھی برسی کے موقع پر کوئٹہ سمیت اندرون بلوچستان میں‌مکمل پہیہ جام اور شٹرڈاؤن ہڑتال رہی کوئٹہ کی بڑی بڑی مارکیٹیں بازار دکانیں‌مکمل طور پر بند رہی۔ بلوچ آزادی پسند کارکنوں اور ریاستی فورسز کے درمیان کئی مکانات پر جھڑپیں بھی ہوئی ہیں لاٹھی چارج اور آنسو گیس کی شیلنگ سے کئی درجن کارکن زخمی ہوگئے، نیو کاہان کوئٹہ دن بھر فورسز اور سیاسی جماعتوں کے درمیان محاذ آرائی کے طور پر میدان جنگ بنا رہا۔

4th Martyrdom Anniversary of Nawab Akbar Bugti in London

Baloch Human Rights Council (UK) and World Sindhi Congress are organising a memorial meeting to honour the great Baloch hero Nawab Akbar Bugti on the fourth anniversary of his murder by Pakistani Army on 26th August 2006.

We request to all Baloch, Sindhi and other human rights activists to take part in the event to pay tribute to the Baloch national hero.

Aug 26: 3 Years after Nawab Bugti

What is being enormously remembered today on the eve of the third death anniversary of Baloch leader Nawab Mohammad Akbar Khan Bugti is the absence of an undisputed political figure that could bridge the gap between the province of Balochistan and the center. Baloch nationalist parties are marking the death anniversary of Nawab Bugti, a former chief minister and the governor of Balochistan who was killed in a military operation on August 26, 2006, with a “black day” today (Wednesday) all over the province.

QUETTA: The third death anniversary of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti will be observed in Balochistan and other parts of the country on Wednesday.

The Baloch leader and a number of his other associates were killed on August 26, 2006, in Tartani area of Kohlu district.
