The fourth edition of the annual two-day Asma Jahangir Conference was held at a local hotel in Lahore. Organized by the AGHS Legal Aid Cell with the support of the Asma Jahangir Foundation, the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC). The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Crisis of Constitutionalism in South Asia’
Lawyers, human rights activists, political leaders from all over Pakistan including Sammi Baloch, Akhtar Mengal and others from Balochistan also participated in the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Sammi Deen Baloch said ‘thanks to the Asma Jahangir Foundation, for the first time in a hotel in Lahore and Punjab, the relatives of the missing persons have been given the opportunity to talk. I am here to represent the plea of the suffering mothers of Balochistan. Before this, the voice of Baloch may have reached some circles in Punjab, but we are always ready to take our plea to every door’.
The Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Nasrullah Baloch has asked the incumbent chief Justice ofPakistanto form a commission for recording the statements of the missing persons and he himself should start hearing their cases. He said the commission that was formed for missing Persons was doing nothing except advocating the Intelligence agencies stance. The federal and the provincial governments are not sincere with Missing persons cases. Had it been that case, they would have paid a visit to the family members of the missing persons showing their solidarity.
VBMP Chairman was talking in front of Quetta Press Club along with Sami Baloch, the cousin of Altaf Rind, where the family members of Missing Persons were holding a set-in protest against illegal abductions of their love ones by state Intelligence agencies. Talking to press media, Sami Rind said that his cousin Altaf Rind was abducted at gun point along with his two friends by Intelligence agencies on June 7, 2012 while travelling from Ziarat toQuetta. He said that they were afraid of his cousin life, lest he met the same fate as his elder brother, Sameer Rind, who was abducted, later they received his mutilated dead body.

Occupied Balochistan: Four bodies riddled with bullets and terrible signs torture have been found in different locations in Balochistan. Two of them have been identified as Basheer Ahmad Baloch and Sami Baloh.
OCCUPIED BALOCHISTAN – Sept 22: Zakir Majeed Baloch the senior vice chairman of BSO-Azaad is missing after being unlawfully detained by dreaded Pakistan Para-military force Frontier Corps (FC) and the Intelligence agencies since June 8, 2009. The family of the Baloch student say that they are not aware of his whereabouts and his condition in which he is being held. Most such cases in the past have turned up dead after torture. The family says that it “gravely concerned about his well-being especially after more than 20 Baloch political activists have been brutally tortured to death by Pakistan Military and the Intelligence agencies.” BSO-Azaad activists say that they have no access to legal representations and they have never been presented to any court or charged with any crimes.
Human Rights Commission of Pakistan is an Organisation with the objectives and aims to protect the human rights of citizens of Pakistan. At every Human Rights Council Sessions it claims that it is fulfilling its objects with full responsibility. At least Asma Jhangir chairman of HRCP use to claim it every where that HRCP is doing its best.
