Altaf Rind, along with his two friends, abducted by State International Agencies: Family

The Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Nasrullah Baloch has asked the incumbent chief Justice ofPakistanto form a commission for recording the statements of the missing persons and he himself should start hearing their cases. He said the commission that was formed for missing Persons was doing nothing except advocating the Intelligence agencies stance.  The federal and the provincial governments are not sincere with Missing persons cases. Had it been that case, they would have paid a visit to the family members of the missing persons showing their solidarity.

VBMP Chairman was talking in front of Quetta Press Club along with Sami Baloch, the cousin of Altaf Rind, where the family members of Missing Persons were holding a set-in protest against illegal abductions of their love ones by state Intelligence agencies. Talking to press media, Sami Rind said that his cousin Altaf Rind was abducted at gun point along with his two friends by Intelligence agencies on June 7, 2012 while travelling from Ziarat toQuetta. The killings and the promises by Mir Sohaib Mengal

The media and the judiciary keep concentrating on non-issues but turn a blind eye to brutalities and human rights violations by state-run agencies

It seems that Mr Gilani was unaware of what his men in uniform and plain clothes were doing in Khuzdar, Gwadar and other parts of Balochistan while he was enjoying dry-fruits in the garrison city of Quetta on his short visit. In a very short span of three days, nine mutilated bodies of Baloch missing persons were found from different parts of Balochistan.

Genocide and gross human rights violations in Balochistan

by South Asia News

Balochistan, November 08: The Pakistani province of Balochistan seems to be perpetually in a state of crisis. Incidents of target killings and bomb blasts are on the rise. Young people often go missing and leaders are targeted and killed in the region. The people of Balochistan say that the Pakistan government and its law enforcement agencies are to blame for violations of human rights in this province. In 2010, violence has surged in Balochistan. Human rights activists are concerned about an increase in target killings. Human Rights group Amnesty International called on Pakistan to investigate the torture and killing of more than 40 political leaders and activists in the region from June to September in 2010 against a backdrop of increasing political unrest and Pakistani military activities in the southwestern province which borders Iran and Afghanistan.
