Tump: A former senior associate of Baloch Student Organisation-Azad has succumbed to his injuries here on Wednesday (1 August 2012).
According to details Zahid Baloch, who was critically injured by Pakistani security forces firing in Tump town of Balochistan few days ago, has passed away today.
The Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Nasrullah Baloch has asked the incumbent chief Justice ofPakistanto form a commission for recording the statements of the missing persons and he himself should start hearing their cases. He said the commission that was formed for missing Persons was doing nothing except advocating the Intelligence agencies stance. The federal and the provincial governments are not sincere with Missing persons cases. Had it been that case, they would have paid a visit to the family members of the missing persons showing their solidarity.
VBMP Chairman was talking in front of Quetta Press Club along with Sami Baloch, the cousin of Altaf Rind, where the family members of Missing Persons were holding a set-in protest against illegal abductions of their love ones by state Intelligence agencies. Talking to press media, Sami Rind said that his cousin Altaf Rind was abducted at gun point along with his two friends by Intelligence agencies on June 7, 2012 while travelling from Ziarat toQuetta. He said that they were afraid of his cousin life, lest he met the same fate as his elder brother, Sameer Rind, who was abducted, later they received his mutilated dead body.
Prime Minister Gilani, on his recent visit to Quetta, asked the militants to shun violence and urged them to choose the path of peace. He was addressing the passing out parade of the recruits of Pakistan Army in Balochistan.
It seems that Mr Gilani was unaware of what his men in uniform and plain clothes were doing in Khuzdar, Gwadar and other parts of Balochistan while he was enjoying dry-fruits in the garrison city of Quetta on his short visit. In a very short span of three days, nine mutilated bodies of Baloch missing persons were found from different parts of Balochistan.
Balochistan, November 08: The Pakistani province of Balochistan seems to be perpetually in a state of crisis. Incidents of target killings and bomb blasts are on the rise. Young people often go missing and leaders are targeted and killed in the region. The people of Balochistan say that the Pakistan government and its law enforcement agencies are to blame for violations of human rights in this province. In 2010, violence has surged in Balochistan. Human rights activists are concerned about an increase in target killings. Human Rights group Amnesty International called on Pakistan to investigate the torture and killing of more than 40 political leaders and activists in the region from June to September in 2010 against a backdrop of increasing political unrest and Pakistani military activities in the southwestern province which borders Iran and Afghanistan.

Occupied Balochistan: Family members of missing persons protested in front of the Quetta Press Club, demanding the safe and early release of their loved ones.
The protesters chanted slogans against security forces and the government, accusing them of taking the Baloch people hostage. They also accused the government of killing kidnapped people in custody.
Addressing a news conference at Quetta Press Club on Thursday, female family members said that personnel of security forces barged into their residence and brutally tortured Sameer and other family members during a search. They took Sameer away at point and who has been listed missing since then. The family members claimed that personnel also looted 30 kilograms gold and other valuable things during the search of their house.
