Three Baloch student critically injured in pre-planned attack by gangsters

Islamabad: A gang of eight students attacked and critically wounded three Baloch students in Preston University Islamabad on Saturday.

According details Baloch students Khalid Kurd, Mehran and Fakhar were having lunch at University’s cafe. When a gang of eight students Umer Satti, M.Ali, Ahtasham, Afridi BBA students in Preston university led by Mashood Ali approached them started swearing them for speaking Balochi with each other.

VBMP Long March participant in imminent danger in Punjab

BALOCHISTAN – Feb 17: Mama Qadeer Baloch, Vice President of Voice of Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has informed media and human rights groups that he has been constantly receiving seriously threatening phone calls from various unknown sources on regular basis. The person(s) on the other end of the line state categorically that “a decision has been taken that the VBMP long marcher will not be allowed to enter Rawalpindi.”

The person(s) state that preparations are under way to ensure that the march is stopped before Rawalpindi.

صوبہ پنجاب کے ضلع اوکاڑہ میں پولیس حکام کے مطابق ’وائس فار بلوچ مسنگ پرسنز‘ کے مارچ کے شرکا کو پیش آنے والے حادثے میں دو افراد زخمی ہو گئے۔

’وائس فار بلوچ مسنگ پرسنز‘ کا کراچی سے اسلام آباد تک پیدل مارچ صوبہ پنجاب کے شہر اوکاڑہ میں سے گزر رہا ہے جہاں رینالہ خورد کے قریب مارچ میں شریک افراد کے مطابق انھیں ایک ٹرک نے ٹکر مار کر کچلنے کی کوشش کی۔

rafiq-baloch-missingبلوچستان کے ضلع خصدار کے علاقے نال کی رہائشی گل بی بی بلوچ کا دعویٰ ہے کہ ان کے بھائی رفیق بلوچ کو جبری طور پر لاپتہ کیا گیا ہے۔کراچی میں پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے گل بی بی نے بتایا کہ ان کے بھائی مقامی سرکاری ہپستال میں ملازم تھے اور 13 اکتوبر کی شام کو ڈیوٹی کے بعد گھر آ رہے تھے کہ بازار میں دوگاڑیوں میں سوار افراد ان کو اٹھا کر لے گئے جس کے بعد سے ان کا تاحال کوئی پتہ نہیں چل سکا ہے۔

Gas pipeline blown up in Balochistan

gas-pipe-inchOccupied Balochistan: An 18-inch Sui gas pipeline was blown up in the early hours of Sunday in the Uch area of Balochistan, DawnNews reported.

According to the report, the explosion suspended gas supply to the Uch power plant in Balochistan causing a reduction of more than 525 megawatts of power generation.

As a result, electricity supply in many areas in Lahore and Punjab has been shelved.

Second attack on Balochs students in Punjab within a week

Punjab (Bhawalpur):  Baloch students were assaulted by a group of Punjabi students in Bahawalpur, resulting in severe injuries to Shabir Baloch, Raza Ali Marri and Shahab Baloch. The Baloch students are members of BSO [Azaad]. Several members of BSO [A] have been victims of the series of attacks on Baloch students in Punjab. BSO [A] is a Baloch Student Organisation that advocates the Independence of the occupied state of Balochistan, which has been occupied by Pakistan and Iran; therefore the supporters of occupation have been attacking Baloch students wherever they find an opportunity to do so, with an objective to create fear amongst the people who advocate Balochistan’s Independence.

BRP launches student wing in all provinces to demand rights

LAHORE: The Baloch Republican Party (BRP) has activated its students’ wing in Punjab, Sindh and the NWFP to provide a platform for raising the voice for the rights of the Baloch population in the provinces. Party sources told Daily Times on Sunday that the BRP had changed its strategy in order to make the government address its demands, and would now also work outside Balochistan.
