Thousands of defenders of Baloch nation have perished in Pakistan’s dirty war in Balochistan. Thousands killed and their body dumped, thousands more still suffer in torture cells of Pakistan. Villages bombed and burned their inhabitant forced into becoming internal displaced person (IDP), cities turned into fortress with many check posts surrounding them all this to isolate the Baloch freedom fighters in the mountains.

Activists living in cities of Balochistan are most vulnerable, after the Murgaap incident, in April of 2009, when Pakistani intelligence agency picked up three prominent Baloch leaders Ghulam Mohammed Baloch, Lala Muneer and Sher Mohammed Baloch from their lawyers chamber in Turbat and within days killed them in custody and dumped their bodies in Murgaap it became clear that Baloch activists are not even save within the boundaries of a Pakistani court.

Rights Groups Concerned About ‘missing’ Baloch People

Quetta / London, March 07: Pakistan is not sparing any effort in silencing Baloch voices that are raised in protest. On February 22, mutilated bodies of Mehboob Wadela of the Baloch National Movement and Rehman Arif of the Baloch Republican Party were found in the coastal town of Ormara. Both activists suspected to have been kidnapped by Pakistan intelligence agencies a few months ago, bore marks of extreme torture. The incident sparked protests in different parts of the province. The “Kill and Dump” tactics by central agencies are on the rise as is clear from the number of bodies of missing Baloch people that are being recovered. According to the NGO, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, as many as 101 bullet-riddled bodies of missing persons have surfaced over the past seven months.

Protests in Balochistan against the massacre of Baloch in Karachi

QUETTA/KARACHI: Baloch political parties and student Organisations have strongly protested against the ongoing attacks on Baloch people in Karachi. The leading Baloch student Organisation BSO (azaad) and other parties organised protest rallies and demonstration almost all over Balochistan including Karachi, Hub, Khuzdar, Kalat, Punjgur, Turbat, Pasni,Ormara, Jeavni, Mastung and Quetta. The angry protester chanted slogans against PPP and MQM and held banners inscribed against these two parties who they believed are behind the Baloch massacre in Karachi Baloch populated areas. The protesters said that the police and Rangers were giving full protection to MQM armed terrorists whereas Baloch villages were being attacked even by the Rangers and the Police.
