Balochistan #WalkForFreedom in South Korea Reaches UN in Seoul

Seoul, April 4, 2016: Baloch long march activists, headed by Naseer Baloch, arrived at the UN offices in Seoul, South Korea today.  In nine days they covered a distance of 463km, from Busan city, the southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula to Seoul, the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea.

The five-member team of Baloch activists started the long march under the banner, “Walk for Freedom” on March 27, 2016 with a protest rally in Busan city. It is worth mentioning here that ‘March 27’ is remembered in Baloch annals as a ‘black day’ when in 1948, the sovereign state of Balochistan was illegally occupied by Pakistan through a military invasion.

#WalkForFreedom: With High Spirits the journey to Seoul continues

Pyeongtaek, South Korea (1 April 2016): On the sixth day of their Walk for Freedom Baloch activist in South Korea reached Pyeongtaek. They started their walk from Cheonan where they had reached yesterday from Yeongdong.

Yesterday (31 March 2016) they walked 58Km from Yeongdong to reach Cheonan.

#WalkForFreedom: Freedom March of Baloch Activists in South Korea to UN office in Seoul

Daegu, South Korea (29 March 2016): By completing a walk of nearly 58 Km, yesterday, the Walk for Freedom marchers reached the city of Daegu in South Korea.

The Walk for Freedom march started from the South Korean city of Busan on March 27, 2016. The aim of the marchers is to highlight the Pakistani state atrocities in the occupied Balochistan.
