ANI | New York [USA] September 22, 2016: Baloch activist Nabi Baksh has said that Pakistani Prime Minister is a mere puppet controlled by the army and added that there is no democracy in the country.
“We don’t expect anything from Nawaz Sharif, he is a mere puppet, and the army is ruling the country. They do not have a democratic government in Pakistan,” Baksh, deputy convener of the Baloch National Movement, North America, told ANI.
The Pakistani authorities have resorted to extremely repressive methods, including forced disappearances, torture and murder, in order to suppress the Baloch uprising

Political leaders, including a former Speaker of the state legislature, activists and human rights defenders protested outside the White House on Friday February 12th to protest against Pakistan’s military actions against opposition political activists and unarmed civilians in the country’s resource-rich province of Balochistan. The Baloch National Movement (BNM), whose central secretary general Manan Baloch, a physician by profession, was killed by the Pakistani security forces last month, organized the protest in the nation’s capital.
Occupied Balochistan: Pakistani security forces have killed and dumped three bodies of abducted Baloch in Kajoori and Kuchlak areas of Balochistan.
According to details two bullet-riddled bodies were found dumped in a desolate place near Kajori area of Musakhel district on Wednesday morning (25/04/2012). According to Levies officials, passers-by spotted the bodies and informed the nearby Levies centre. The bodies were taken to a nearby hospital where the victims were identified as Nabi Baksh Baloch and Nadeem Ahmed Baloch.
