International Women’s Day Observed by Baloch, Ahwazis, Azeris and Turkomans:

Toronto: A joint session of Baloch, Ahwazi Arabs, South Azerbaijanis and Turkomans observed the International Women’s Day to emphasize the growing role of women in the struggles for social justice, equality and national emancipation of oppressed nations of the world.

Speakers belonging to Baloch, Ahwazi, Azeri and Turkoman communities paid rich tribute to women who are in the forefront to end gender bias, violence, discrimination and inequality in the world as well as in Canada regarding aboriginal women.

By protecting our Language, we protect ourselves : Mumtaz Baloch

Toronto: International Mother Language Day was observed by Baloch, Azerbaijani, Turkoman and Ahwazi Arab communities in Toronto to honour their culture and heritage under repressive occupation of Iran and Pakistan.

Addressing the event Mrs. Mumtaz Baloch the spokesperson of Baloch Human Rights Council (Canada) said, the Baluch Language is the principle language of the Baluch People.  The Baluch who are now widely spread over the world have managed with difficulty to maintain their language.  We all know Mother Language is the first social contact of a human being that will lead to knowledge.

Looting shops in Awaran exposed the psychological defeat of Pakistani Forces – BSO-Azad

Occupied Balochistan: The spokesman of BSO-Azad has said in a statement that Pakistani forces along with their instruments and stooges have attacked residents in Awaran Bazar, Teertaj and Bedhi. The forces looted and then set ablaze many shops whereas they also maltreated and abducted many Baloch.

“Pakistani forces stormed the main Awaran Bazar and abducted Zareef Baloch, Hameed Baloch, Asadullah Baloch, Raheem Bakhsh Baloch, Mumtaz Baloch and many others. The forces then terrorized the whole area by firing in the air for long. They also looted many shops including a Medical store and then burnt them up,” said the spokesman.
