An agonising wait: Missing Baloch leader’s wife demands recovery

ISLAMABAD: The wife of Baloch Students Organisation-Azad  (BSO-A) chairperson Zahid Baloch, who went missing earlier this year, has said she will go to any length to find her husband.

Zarjan travelled all the way from Khuzdar to Islamabad to share her ordeal with the media and raise her voice for the release of her husband at the National Press Club.

میں آج آپ محترمین کو اپنا نوحہ سنانے بلوچستان کے دور افتادہ علاقے نال خضدار سے آئی ہوں۔ میرے ہمراہ میرا یہ معصوم بچہ قمبر بھی ہے۔ میرے شوہر زاھد بلوچ کو آج سے تین مہینے پہ…لے کوئٹہ سے خفیہ اداروں کے اہلکاروں نے ایف سی کی مدد سے اغواء کیا جو تاحال لاپتہ ہیں ۔ ان تین مہینے کے دوران مجھ سمیت میرے دو بچے اور زاھد بلوچ کے ضعیف والد اور والدہ جس قرب سے گذر رہے ہیں وہ شاید میں لفظوں میں بیان نا کرسکوں، لیکن انصاف کے ہر در پر دستک دے کر مایوس لوٹنے کے بعد میری آخری امید و سہارا حق و سچ کے علمبردار آپ صحافی حضرات ہی ہیں ۔ آج آپ کے سامنے صرف اس امید سے پیش ہوئی ہوں کہ شاید آپ کے توسط سے میری فریاد کسی ایسے سماعت سے ٹکرائے جو مجھے اور میرے ان دو معصوم بچوں کو انصاف دلا سکے ۔

BALOCHISTAN: The hunger strike camp set up outside Quetta Press Club by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) for recovery of missing persons was set on fire by unidentified people on night between Wednesday and Thursday.

Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), a local and sister organization of International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) organization is striving hard for the recovery of their beloved ones for over last three years in Quetta, Karachi and Islamabad.

Missing from Balochistan: Having given up on govt, relatives appeal to the UN for justice

ISLAMABAD: Relatives of people missing from Balochistan appealed to the United Nations on Saturday to help them get justice.

At a protest organised by the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) in front of the National Press Club, they demanded accountability for the killings in the province and slammed the government’s stance on the Balochistan quagmire, which “almost always blames a mythical foreign hand”.

The protest was led by VBMP’s Vice-Chairperson Qadeer Rekki (Jalil Rekki’s father, who was murdered some months ago) and Farzana Majid (sister of abducted Baloch Students Organisation  – Azad (BSO-Azad) Vice Chairperson Zakir Majeed). Scores of students, political workers and intellectuals also participated in the protest.

Rally demands release of Baloch missing persons


ISLAMABAD (PPI) – In order to express their solidarity, the relatives of Baloch missing persons held a protest rally on Saturday against detention and disappearance their kins allegedly by the security forces and demanded the immediate release of thousands of Baloch activists.
