Baloch pro-independent leader Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch, expressing his views on the foreign investments in Balochistan on the social networking website Twitter said they are doomed to sink.
On 30 May he tweeted “If the #Chinese, along with other investors, want to invest in Balochistan, can never safeguard their interests without the consent of Baloch. Again, we warn all international investors to abstain unless the Baloch people are the guarantors.

KARACHI: An impasse looms large over the relief effort in Balochistan’s earthquake-devastated region – an area known to be a hotbed of Baloch Freedom Fighters – which has already resulted in mushrooming clashes in the region. However, a top commander has offered a way forward through the mistrust between rebels and security forces: Let the relief effort be handled by private or international organisations.

Colonial powers such as Pakistan make laws to justify their occupation, and to exploit the resources of the colonized by hiding behind the obscuring veil of the state and elections.
The Indian National Congress took part in elections under an electoral framework formulated by the British Empire. According to Abdul Kalam Azad, the President of the Congress, all Congress ministers would work under the influence of British governors, and would adopt policies dictated by those governors, as a result of these elections. Is it not true that wherever colonials formulate laws, they aim to legitimize their exploitation and plunder under the shadow of those very laws?

Dear friends,
The Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has received information that military units have bombarded more than a dozen villages in three districts of Balochistan based on information about the presence of a guerilla fighter fighting for the independence of Balochistan. Independent sources claim that more than 50 persons, including women and children, were killed. In just one district, more than 32 villagers were killed and many persons were displaced as their houses were completely destroyed.
