Mahir Bibi Marri – (The Iron Lady) By Diagoh Murad

Note: On the “International day for Enforce Disappeared” we are publishing this article again (it was first published on 19 April 2012) to pay tribute to Mahir Bibi Marri and her struggle for the safe recovery of her relative and other enforce disappeared Baloch.

Imagine you are forced to live your all life alone without any relative in your life, forcedly taken, beaten & killed & you didnt got the chance to see their faces for the last time. The very thought of living alone makes you shiver because it is hardly impossible for a human to even live a second without anybody giving you a back support.

Now lets put a woman in this example when her husband was dragged, beaten, manhandled & later bristled with bullets infront of her and the children, she suffered the most horrific sight but didn’t flinched because of her children, when the assailant were done they slapped her & ordered her not to drag any judicial inquiries in this or she will face the dire consequences. She didn’t reacted nor did she went for the police neither she went for judicial inquiries hoping that the worst was over, but she was wrong.

Nation Needs Enlightenment- Prof Saba Dashtyari – By Diagoh Murad

The 1st June of 2011 brought many things for some it was the day when a partial Solar Eclipse happened, the sun went under a curtain and the moon came over the sun to darken half of the earth and made the life miserable for many as the great giver of life seems inexplicably to disappear from the sky.

Birds prepare for bed; the sky darkens in the middle of the day. It seems as though something dreadful is about to happen. Over the years, experience has shown us that old things come to an end (or are overthrown) under a solar eclipse and a new beginning can be made but this didn’t happened in 2011 not for Baloch nation because it didn’t brought an end to their oppression or their subjugation but it sure brought a partial stop to an era of enlightenment, the era of intellectualism, and it sure brought an end to the life of one of the greatest Baloch leaders known to Baloch nation as “Enlightenment For Baloch” Martyred Professor Saba Dashtyari Baloch.

Lyari: The unending war on Baloch – by Diagoh Murad

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The intense operation in Lyari has entered its 6th day with death toll rising to 70 and injuries are beyond 100 & the displacement of Baloch locals is gone to swooping 200 its like the operation was initiated to force the Baloch population to leave their shelters and homes & lately they have given ultimatum to Baloch locals of Lyari to leave their homes or else face the consequences (We know what those consequences are).

The latest human rights crisis where Lyari Baloch are ignored in this gruesome operation is beyond shocking, not just to Lyari Baloch but to the people of Balochistan, who are seeing all this in disbelieve. The Human rights organizations ‘Amnesty International, HRW, AHRC, HRCP (Human Rights Commission of Pakistan), OHCHR (Office of the human commissioner for human rights) & Red Cross’ has just remained silent to this criminal operation over indigenous Baloch population, why? Perhaps they don’t care, they don’t have any interest in Lyari, they don’t see Lyari people’s as humans or they are deaf and voiceless when something of a Baloch human crisis comes up to them.

Lyari: The Gaza Strip of Karachi by Diagoh Murad

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Karachi, the metropolitan city which summarizes a potential greater population of Baloch has once again seen the unsettling thunderous clouds marching their ways toward Baloch homes. The recent clash which many in Karachi believe is a slow genocide has turned the tide and became an aggressive attempt to force the Baloch indigenous population out of their shelters & homes.

Remembering 23 March 2011 – By Diagoh Murad

If you know about this date in particular than let me specify some of the accounts that I have with this day. March 23 is the 82nd day of the year (83rd in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 283 days remaining until the end of the year. The main purpose I have with this day and the reason I live this day to remember every bit of injustice happened or sentences that laid a mark was performed in this particular date. Let me specify some events that might give my viewers a glimpse what this date means in full form,

Cultural day mourning

By: Diagoh Murad

Sunday, March 07, 2010

On 2nd March 2010, the dawn rose to welcome another Black day for Baloch nation who are colonized by Iran & Pakistan, Being a colony Pakistani suppressed Baloch nation never realized that something this could happen to them but as Iranian Suppressed Baloch are concerned they have faced this mortification in the past also where they have been pressured to surrender their culture and language to the neo-colonial power of Irani Shia controlled State. The International cultural day celebrated by every nation in the world, where a nation is free to cherish their Culture in whatever forms they like, they are given free will to debate, create forums, publicize their culture to the whole world and The State in which these culture flourish push them to the forefront so that the culture of such nation becomes visible to the whole world (India being a good example, where every nation have their own forums to debate on their cultural values & morals). But Pakistan is a country in South East Asia where Army controlled agencies dispatch bombs on culture commemoration to suppress and let the colonized nation memorize that they control the cards and they have the authority whether to let these commemoration take place or to turn them into Hell.
