The 10-year-old victim of Pakistan’s ‘forgotten war’

BALOCHISTAN:  At 10-years-old, Chakar Baloch had his whole life before him when unknown men kidnapped him near a market in Pakistan’s troubled southwestern province of Baluchistan.

Three days later his body was found in a stream, making him another victim of the shadowy fight in the desolate, unstable province.

In Chakar’s family they no longer count the men kidnapped, detained, tortured or beaten for their part in a long-running nationalist movement in the province.

بلوچستان کے علاقے تربت سے گذشتہ چند دن سے لاپتہ تقریباً 10 سالہ بچے کی تشدد شدہ لاش ملی ہے۔چاکر بلوچ نامی بچے کے بھائی بلوچستان کی قوم پرست تحریک میں سرگرم ہیں۔نامہ نگار ریاض سہیل کے مطابق تربت سٹی پولیس تھانے پر عبدالرحمان نامی ایک شخص کی جانب سے سنیچر کو درج کرائی گئی ایف آئی آر کے مطابق 10سالہ چاکر ولد خدا دوست بازار کی طرف گیا تھا، جس کے بعد لاپتہ ہوگیا، جمعے کی شام انھیں میڈیا کے ذریعے معلوم ہوا کہ سول ہپستال میں ایک لاش لائی گئی ہے۔

BALOCHISTAN: The Pakistani state “Kill and dump” policy of Baloch nation continues, 10 years old missing Baloch student extremely tortured body found in Kech District of Balochistan on Friday (Jan 10, 2013).

A dumped dead body with so many torture marks on it has been identified as that of 10 years old Chakar Baloch – missing student from Balochistan.

Human Rights Commission of Pakistan is an Organisation with the objectives and aims to protect the human rights of citizens of Pakistan. At every Human Rights Council Sessions it claims that it is fulfilling its objects with full responsibility. At least Asma Jhangir chairman of HRCP use to claim it every where that HRCP is doing its best.
