Baloch Canadians Observe March 27 Black Day

 Pakistan Military Invaded Independent Balochistan in 1948

Toronto, March 25: Baloch National Movement – North America’s call to observe March 27 as black day was attended by Pakhtuns, Sindhis, Kurds and enlightened elements of the Canadian society at a Toronto meeting. Sovereign Balochistan was invaded and occupied by the Pakistani military in 1948. The public gathering was attended by people from all walks of life sharing democratic values and respect for freedoms and rights.

Mr. Tarek Fatah, guest of honour at the event spoke on the importance of understanding the history and the evil nature of the state of Pakistan. In his speech, Mr. Fatah described the events at Dacca University on March 25, 1971 when Pakistan Army soldiers massacred more than 200 students and teachers at the university dorms and hung their bodies from the poles and trees.

70th anniversary of Pakistani occupation of Balochistan observed in Canada

Toronto: A group of Baloch political and student activists in Canada gathered at Fairview Library in Toronto to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Pakistan’s occupation of the land of the Baloch people.

The event organized by Baloch National Movement (BNM) was supported by Sindhi, Pashtun, Kashmiri, Kurd and other human rights activists.

پاکستانی میڈیا بلوچ قومی تحریک کو غلط رنگ دینے کے لئے منفی پروپگنڈہ کررہی ہے تاکہ بلوچ قومی تحریک کو دیگر طاقتوں کا پراکسی ثابت کیا جا سکے۔ پاکستانی میڈیا چونکہ آزاد نہیں ہے اس لئے وہ ہمارے موقف کو پیش کیے بغیر ہمارے خلاف پروپگنڈہ کررہی ہے۔

The first woman Chairperson of the Baloch Students Organization – Azad (BSO-A), Karima Baloch, made a surprise public appearance in an Amnesty International Toronto Organization (AITO) event in the Canadian city of Toronto today (Saturday 5 Dec 2015).

She was attending the AITO Write for Rights Toronto 2015 event and discussed the Balochistan’s issue with AITO officials.

Balochistan: BSO-Azad leader killed in Gresha military operation

BALOCHISTAN: At least one person has been shot dead and several other abducted during a search operation in Gresha area of Naal on Friday 18 September 2015.

According to details Pakistani security forces conducted search operations in Gresha, Zabad and Badrang areas of Naal in district Khuzdar Balochistan killing one person and arresting several others.

The Frontier Corps (FC) injured several political activists and one journalist in Turbat district on Friday in a clash in front of headquarters of Mekran Scouts in a sit-in that demanded the release of a freshly arrested Baloch writer and his son in Thump area.

According to the details, hundreds of Baloch women hailing from four towns of Turbat staged a sit-in in front of the district headquarter of the Mekran Scouts, a wing of the Frontier Corps (FC), to condemn the raid and subsequent arrest of a prominent Balochi language writer Ali Jan Quomi and his son Mujahid Quomi.
