Enforce disappearances in occupied Balochistan is continuing at an accelerating speed, for the last ten years not a single day’s sun set without any disappearances news. Pakistan’s army and it’s security agencies are conducting the most brutal military operations on civilians. In order to justify the atrocities on Baloch nation, Pakistan army triggers extremist outfits such as Lashkar-e-Jhangvi to destabilise the situation in Balochistan by targeting Hazaras to launch military operations on Baloch people in using the name of “tackling terrorist”. Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) chair person, Qadeer Baloch recorded the data of at least 18000 Baloch that were made enforcly disappeared and the list of missing, killed and dumped persons are available on VBMP’s website.

We write to you from the middle of Balochistan’s worst quake-hit area, Awaran, where a deadly 7.7 magnitude earthquake killed more than a thousand people on September 24th, 2013. The powerful quake toppled numerous mud-built houses in Awaran and Turbat districts affecting nearly 350,000 people.

The Baloch National Front (BNF), an alliance of Baloch nationalist parties, would like to draw Your Excellency’s attention towards your recent visit to Pakistan which caused heartbreaks among the Baloch people.
Your Excellency, in a speech delivered on August 30 in Switzerland, had said:
BALOCHISTAN: The central spokesperson of Baloch National Front (BNF) in a statement said that; today (August 13th, 2013) Frontier Corps (FC) and other Pakistani law enforcing agencies with the help of Chief Minister of Balochistan Dr. Malik Baloch thugs attacked the demonstrators in Turbat to sabotage BNF’s peaceful protest rally.

It’s to bring to your attention that the Baloch people have time and again knocked the door of the United Nations to seek help to stop massive human rights abuses they suffer at the hands of Pakistani and Iranian states. However, with utmost regret, the esteemed world body has not taken any significant step so far to investigate these crimes against humanity being committed, especially by Pakistan.
