Occupied Balochistan: The central spokesperson of Baloch Student Organisation – Azad said on Sunday that Netherlands announcement to provide 2.5 million dollar to Balochistan police in name eradication of drug crimes implementation of law is a matter of great concern. This amount will directly be used for Baloch genocide by Pakistan’s security agencies.
The BSO-Azad statement further said, “The police are hand in glove with criminal gangs in an attempt to supress the Baloch national struggle.” Enforced disappearances, discovery of mutilated bodies of missing Baloch, bombardment on civilian populations and violations of international human rights laws are rapidly on the rise in Balochistan, the spokesperson added.
Awaran: The first central committee meeting of BSO-A after the nineteenth council session was held in Awaran. The agendas included discussion on current regional and international politics, debate on the suggestions given in the council session, education of Baloch students, the forthcoming Pakistani Parliamentary elections, Pakistan & US relations, Reopening of NATO supply line, Balochistan’s economical aspect of relations with the world and the looting of Baloch natural resources. Concerns were also expressed upon airing of sectarianism by Pakistani agencies in Balochistan and the threats of Jihad (Holy war) to be waged against the Baloch action by Islamists of Difa-e-Pakistan council. Discussions were also made on repercussions of BNP-M, BNP-A & National Party’s expected participation in Pakistani elections.
The participants said that, Balochistan has enormous importance due to its geographical position. International powers are eyeing on the deep seaport and the mineral resources of Balochistan. Now it depends on the Baloch nation that how they devise a plan to attain and retain its independence in the current conditions.
Awaran: Ceremony and convention held on the third day of Counsel Session, Election commissioner took oaths from newly elected Cabinet and Central Committee.
According to details, counsel session of BSO-A, which commenced on 7th July, continued till late night on the third day due to oath taking ceremony and convention.
Counsel Session of BSO-A that was held from 7th to 9th July in Awaran ended on 8th July after election of cabinet and central committee. On the last day of session oath taking ceremony and convention were held. The chairman of Election Committee took oath from new office-bearers.
Speaking at the occasion, the chairman of Election Commission, congratulated the newly elected cabinet, central committee members and the Baloch nation on successfully convening the 19th Counsel Session of BS0-A.
The 19th Counsel session of BSO-A ends, Cabinet and Central Committee elected, members vow to continue struggle for national liberation.
The Counsel Session continued for the second day. Among various other things the agenda for the second day included constitution making, regional and international politics, election of new cabinet and concluding speech by the Chairman. All the counselors participated in the discussion and an election commission was formed.
Seven members submitted their names for the nominations and all were elected unopposed. The Central Committee was also elected unopposed.
Speaking in his concluding Speech, the BSO-A chairman, said, “The Baloch youth are fortunate that they have a platform in the form of BSO-A, which has, for 46 years, educated hundreds and thousands of Baloch youth on ideological and educational basis. A large number of Baloch youth is struggling for the national liberation after getting educational and ideological training from BSO-A.”
The 19th Counsel Session of Baloch Student Organization – Azad will be held from 7th to 9th July, 2012 in city of Awaran, Balochistan.
Last Counsel Session was held on 21st November 2008. Due to barbaric human rights violations by Pakistan in Balochistan it was not possible for BSO-A to held further counsel sessions. More than 100 members of BSO-A were killed in this period including the senior leadership of organization.
The 19th Counsel Session was decided to be held after serious discussion with the senior members of BSO-A.
KARACHI: When there is extreme oppression, discrimination and human rights violations, the reaction to that also becomes extreme, said the self-exiled central leader of the Balochistan National Party Sanaullah Baloch via a video conferencing system from Geneva, Switzerland, while explaining the cause of insurgent movements in Balochistan to an audience at The Second Floor (T2F).
Mr Baloch and Mir Sohaib Mengal, the London-based Baloch Students Organisation-Azad central executive committee member who is studying accountancy there, joined the informal talk, which was a second session of the Balochistan discussion series, on Thursday evening.
Author and journalist Mohammad Hanif moderated the session.
Occupied Balochistan: The largest and most active Baloch student Organisation, BSO-Azad, in Balochistan has released the report of on-going Human Rights Violation of the first Quarter of the 2012.
The report was published on BSO-Azad’s official website (www.sagaar.org) which explains in details the number of abductions and killings of Baloch men, women and children in past four month by Pakistani security forces. According to the report in first four months of 2012 at least 91 people were killed and 93 have been abducted by the security agencies of Pakistan. The killed victims include 82 men, 3 women and 6 children whereas 78 men, 6 women and 9 children have reportedly been abducted across Balochistan.
Occupied Balochistan: The parents of Zakir Baloch have expressed their despair at a press conference in Mastung saying that they were extremely worried about the life of their son. They said that their son’s life was in extreme danger, given the fact that the enforced disappeared political workers’ severely tortured dead bodies were appearing on daily bases all around Balochistan, DailyTawer reported yesterday.
Zakir Baloch, a senior leader of Baloch Students Organization (Azad) was abducted by eight armed personnel almost one and half year ago in Mastung city at a bus station while working in a Medical Store on September 9th 2010.
