1000 days for justice: Voice for Baloch Missing Persons rally against enforced-disappearances

Karachi: The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) took out a massive protest rally in Karachi on Wednesday 19 December 2012 on completion of their 1000 Days form peaceful protest against human rights violations in Balochistan.

Thousands of people joined the rally to pay tributes to enforced-disappeared Baloch and those who have been killed in custody by Pakistani forces. The rally set off from Arts Council Karachi and marched to the Press Club where a big demonstration was held. The participants of the rally had come from different areas of Karachi to express their support and solidarity with families of enforced-disappeared Baloch activists.

Occupied Balochistan: The central spokesperson of Baloch Student Organisation (Azad) said on Wednesday that Abdul Qadeer has written a history with his continuous and enduring struggle for the release of Baloch missing persons.

The statement further said that Zakir Majeed, Dr Din Mohammad and thousands of other abducted Baloch are languishing in Pakistani torture cells for their struggle for independence. But the zealous struggle of Mama Qadeer, Banok Farzana and thousands of other Baloch women and children has given impetus to the struggle of detained Baloch activists. The persistent struggle of these enthusiastic Baloch has brought a new life in the Baloch freedom struggle.

Karachi: Voice for Baloch Missing Persons holds a rally in Karachi on December 19, 2012 to mark its 1000 days of protest against illegal disappearances, torturing, killing and dumping of Baloch people by Pakistani Security Forces, Secret Agencies and Government backed death-squads. Mama Qadeer Baloch talks to Samandar Askani of Radio CGwank and reveals some important facts and figures and tells about the difficulties they endured during their struggle for the safe recovery of their loved ones.
