A mutilated body has been found in Chaman district of Balochistan, the body has been identified as Yaseen Bugti son of Ghulam Nabi, a resident of Dera Bugti.
According to Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organization working against enforced disappearances in Balochistan, Yaseen Bugti was forcefully disappeared on January 16, 2016 from Bashir chowk, Nashenas colony in Quetta.
Yaseen Bugti’s family members also protested against his long disappearance, saying that he had been forcibly disappeared after being abducted by Pakistani intelligence personnel, till now his whereabouts were unknown to the family. Today on 12 June 2022 his mutilated body was found from Chaman.
It worth mentioning that mutilated bodies of enforced missing persons have been recovered in Balochistan since 2009 and there were signs of torture on every one of them. This policy of Pakistan is known as “Kill and Dump”
Balochistan’s political parties, human rights organizations and the families of the missing have always blamed the Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies for these atrocities.
As per social media reports the family members of Yaseen Bugti have gone to Chaman to collect his body, Yaseen Bugti will be laid to rest at Shuda-a-Balochistan Cemetery in New Kahan Hazar Ganji.
