On Friday a protest camp was set up at Karachi press club against the enforced disappearance of two missing baloch students of Karachi University.
Doda Baloch son of Elahi Bakhsh and his fellow student Gumshad Baloch son of Sattar Baloch both were forcibly disappeared from their house from Karachi.
This camp is organized by the family members of the two students and the students of Karachi University.
Many students and activists from different walks of life participated in the protest camp and showed their solidarity with the abducted Baloch students and their family.
Activists at the camp expressed grave concern over the enforced disappearance of Doda Baloch and Gumshad Baloch by the intelligence agencies in Karachi and said that both the abducted students were innocent. They said If the government has any evidence against them, they should be presented in court. Such forcible abduction is a violation of human rights.
Protesters expressed concern over the enforced disappearance of Baloch youth in Sindh and demanded that the PPP government take notice of this severe situation, otherwise we would consider them as equal partners in this crime against humanity.
Families of Doda Baloch and Gamshad Baloch have announced that tomorrow on 12 June at 11 AM they will demonstrate in front of Turbat Press Club against the enforced disappearance of both the students. They appealed to all the social activists of Makuran to participate and show their solidarity and help save the Baloch students.
Tomorrow a protest will also be held at Karachi Press Club at 4PM by Baloch Yakjehti Committee (Karachi)
It is worth mentioning that around 5 pm on 7 June 2022, Doda Baloch son of Elahi Bakhsh and his department fellow student Ghumshad Baloch son of Sattar Baloch were forcibly disappeared by intelligence and security forces personnel at a house in Maskan Chowrangi area of Karachi. Doda Baloch is a third semester student in the philosophy department of Karachi University and Ghamshad Baloch is a fifth semester student.
