Overview of UNODC report on Pakistan by Dr. Naguman Baloch


United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC) in its 2013 report on Pakistan said

The highest prevalence of opiate users was found in Balochistan, where 1.6 percent of the population uses either heroin, opium, or both.

Fifteen thousand youth of Balochistan were annually becoming victims of drug addiction.

Balochistan is confronting with six thousand drug related fatalities annually.
