Senior Sindhi nationalist leader shot dead

THATTA – Jiye Sindh Tehreek Chairman Shafi Karnani was shot dead by unknown target killers here on Wednesday (6 March 2016), reported BBC.

On his way back home, Karnani was approached by two target killers who opened fire near the area of Makli bypass. Shafi got critically injured and was shifted to Civil Hospital Thatta where he succumbed to injuries. The assailants however managed to flee from the scene.

According to doctors, Karnani was hit by seven bullets.
