Daegu, South Korea (29 March 2016): By completing a walk of nearly 58 Km, yesterday, the Walk for Freedom marchers reached the city of Daegu in South Korea.
The Walk for Freedom march started from the South Korean city of Busan on March 27, 2016. The aim of the marchers is to highlight the Pakistani state atrocities in the occupied Balochistan.
In two day the participants covered 95km, and reached Daegu on March 28, 2016. The total distance between Busan to Seoul is 326Km (203 miles).
Mr. Naseer Baloch told the media that the route permission given to them by the Korean government for the march will take them more than 700 km to reach Seoul. Their target is to reach Seoul by 4 April, children as young as 10 years are participating in the march because of which to reach on time in Seoul will be very difficult but they will try their best.
During this human rights awareness campaign for Balochistan, they will distribute handbills, and hold protest gatherings all the way from Busan to Seoul.
Today (29 March 2016) the walk for freedom will continue from the city of Daegu towards Seoul.
