Washington, D. C.: Baloch of North America staged a demonstration yesterday (12 Feb, 2016) in front of the White House. They expressed their anger against the killing of Dr. Mannan Baloch and his comrades by the Pakistani army.
The call for this protest was given by Baloch National Movement (BNM) North America. Baloch from different political parties including Nabi Bakhsh Baloch, Co-organizer BNM – North America, Abdul Qadeer Baloch Vice Chairman Voice of Baloch Missing Person (VBMP) and Waheed Baloch, former Chairman Baloch Student Organization (BSO) took part in the protest against the assassination of Dr. Mannan Baloch Leader of BNM.
“At least 35,000 Baloch are missing. There is a grave violation of human rights on the people of Balochistan and all this is being perpetrated by the Pakistan Army and the ISI,” said Mama Abdul Qadir Baloch.
Demanding an end to Pakistan’s “forceful” occupation of Balochistan, hundreds of Baloch— Americans and leaders from this restive Pakistani province held a peaceful protest in front of the White House to seek US intervention and deployment of NATO troops in the region.
“At least 35,000 Baloch are missing. There is a grave violation of human rights on the people of Balochistan and all this is being perpetrated by the Pakistan Army and the ISI,” said Mama Abdul Qadir Baloch in an interview to PTI on Friday in front of the White House.

Since, it has employed as a federal law, civilians are being arrested from all over Pakistan, but as far Balochistan is concerned, the provincial government of Balochistan has officially confessed more than 9000 civilians have been taken into custody through National Action Plan (NAP) so far.
On 17th September 2015 Former Chief Minister of Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik while talking to newsmen said that those civilians were taken into custody by NAP, and will be trailed under same federal law.
