Pakistan intensifies its atrocities in Balochistan ahead of 14 August, more than 200 abducted
BALOCHISTAN: Pakistani security forces have started massive search operations and arrests of Baloch activists across Balochistan.
Sources reported that more than 200 people have been arrested from New Khan Quetta, Kharan, Mashky and other areas of Balochistan in past three days.
They victims have been taken to different police stations and secret detention centres of Pakistani security forces.

Balochistan: Baloch nation commemorates their Independence Day
BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch people have commemorated their Independence Day on 11 August, 2014 and renewed their resolve to continue the struggle for freedom of Balochistan.
Baloch youth hoisted flag of Balochistan on their cars, houses, schools and other buildings to remember the Independence Day and they also arranged awareness campaigns. Many youth painted their cars with the colors of Balochistan’s flag to mark the Independence Day.

11th August: The ‘Independence Day’ of the troubled province of Balochistan
Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan occupying about 45% of the territory and bordering Iran. The province is rich in national resources and hence an extremely important source of income for the country’s fledging economy. But Balochistan for a very long time have been marred by a separatist movement against Pakistan, with serious accusations of human rights violations labeled against the state. 11th August is celebrated as the province’s ‘Independence Day’.
