Pakistan must give answers on evolving Baloch crisis: Casaca

paolocasacaGeneva, April 16 (ANI): The director of the Brussels-based South Asia Democratic Forum, Paula Casaca, has asked relevant authorities in Pakistan to be more accountable for developments taking place in the country’s Balochistan province, especially in the wake of reports suggesting China’s expansionist role in the region.

In an interview given to ANI in Geneva, Casaca said that it is wholly unacceptable for legitimate government authorities in Pakistan not to give appropriate answers to searching questions on the previaling situation in Balochistan.

Balochistan: 34 die in as earth quakes

Ocupied Balochistan: Balochistan bore the brunt of the powerful earthquake that struck southeast Iran near the border with Pakistan on Tuesday, killing at least 34 people and wounding more than 200.

The US Geological Survey said the 7.8 magnitude quake hit at 3:45pm (Pakistan time) at a depth of 82km. The epicentre was 198km southeast of the Iranian city of Zahedan and 250km northwest of Turbat in Balochistan. The tremors were felt across Pakistan and as far as the Gulf States and New Delhi.

Baloch freedom fighters accepted responsibility for attack on Zehri’s convoy and Pakistani forces

KhusdarOccupied Balochistan: The Baloch resistance organisations, fighting for independence of Balochistan, have claimed responsibility for attack on Pakistani security forces and the convoy of PML (N) leader Mr Sanaullah Zehri in Khuzdar on Tuesday.

Sources reported that Sanaullah Zehri’s convoy of attacked yesterday when he was on his way for election campaigns. The convoy was target at Ghat region of Zehri in Khuzdar Balochistan.

نیو کاہان کے علاقے میں واحد سہولت ہے جو حکومت کی جانب سے فراہم کی گئی تاہم استاد پھر بھی تعینات نہیں، کچھ نوجوان مقامی لوگوں کے چندے سے ان بچوں کو پڑھاتے ہیں۔
