Eight Marri Baloch from same family abducted in Quetta

Occupied Balochistan: Pakistani security forces have abducted at least eight members of a family from Quetta during a pre-dawn raid. The victims are stated to be in the withheld custody of Para-military forces (FC) in the vicinity.

According to details the residents of Gohar Abad, Quetta, have said that on Sunday night their residential houses were besieged and later ransacked by Pakistani security forces. In spite of not finding anything illegal the Pakistani forces abducted eight members of same family.

BSO-Azad briefs UN Delegation; Evidences presented.

Occupied Balochistan: A delegation of Baloch Students Organization – Azad met the UN Working Group for Enforced And Involuntary Disappearances on sunday here in QUETTA. “The Delegation told the WGEID that the real problem the Baloch nation is facing is occupation of its land” said the representative of BSO-A in a statement “and its solution rests in the restoration of Baloch national state.”

BSO-Azad urged the UN to deploy peacekeeping forces on urgent basis in Balochistan as it did in Kosovo.

Balochistan: Thousands protest against enforced-disappearances of their loved ones

Occupied Balochistan: The families of abducted Baloch took out a protest rally against human rights violations and kill and dump of their loved ones by Pakistani security agencies. They demanded from the UN to take practical steps and play its role for safe release of enforced-disappeared Baloch.

According to details thousands of people rallied from Quetta Press Club to Assembly Chowk (roundabout) and staged a sit-in protest outside Serena Hotel where the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances had arrived to investigate the issue of missing persons in Balochistan. The Baloch Human Rights Organisation had given the call for the protest rally. The peaceful protesters were holding pictures of their disappeared and killed loved ones and placards inscribed against state atrocities in Balochistan.

Baloch National Movement delegation informed UN WGEID about state atrocities against Baloch people

Occupied Balochistan: In a statement the central spokesperson of Baloch National Movement said that a delegation of BNM, headed by Vice chairman Sayed Yousif Baloch had a meeting with UN visiting team to Balochistan in Quetta and apprised it about the current situation of Balochistan: the human rights abuses, state sponsored atrocities and the Baloch Nation Crisis.

According to details Mr Baloch has presented a letter along with a documentary book, “Titled: The Brutal Counter Insurgency and State Terrorism of Pakistan”, to UN working group on behalf of the central general secretary of the Party. The book highlights the state terrorism, the mass murder of Baloch People, enforced disappearances, and their subsequent killed in custody and dumping of their mutilated bodies. The BNM was given 30 minute for their presentation on this occasion the vice chairman of BNM Sayed Yousif Baloch said that Baloch crisis was not merely a humanitarian crisis; it was rather a pure illegal occupation and regaining Baloch sovereign state.
