Former member of BSO-Azad murdered in Tump

Tump: A former senior associate of Baloch Student Organisation-Azad has succumbed to his injuries here on Wednesday (1 August 2012).

According to details Zahid Baloch, who was critically injured by Pakistani security forces firing in Tump town of Balochistan few days ago, has passed away today.

Newly wed Mr. Baloch, was a senior member of BSO-A Tump zone. “His family who was rejoicing six day ago is mourning the death of their son today”, reported sagaar, the official webpage of BSO-Azad.

Zahid Baloch was also the cousin of BRP leader late Sameer Rind. Martyr Sameer was killed and dumped by Pakistani intelligence personnel on October 09 2011 after he went missing on 14 October 2010.

Zahid Baloch was also abducted along with Iqbal Baloch on 14 March 2007, but he was released after brutal torture. However, Iqbal Baloch’s whereabouts are still not known.

BSO-A in a statement paid rich tributes to their former comrade and described him as a brave, sincere and very devoted Baloch activist. “Our martyr comrade’s revenge lays in the independence of motherland, Balochistan”, the BSO-A further said.

On the call of BSO-A and BNM a total shutter down strike was absorbed in Mund, Tump, Gumazi, Pulabad and surrounding areas against the brutal murder of Zahid Baloch.

On Thursday (2 August 2012) in presence of thousand of mourners he was buried in his village graveyard in Tump.
