Two More Baloch Youths Killed and Dumped in Khuzdar

QUETTA: Two more bullet-riddled dead bodies have been discovered in Khuzdar district, some 360 KM southeast of Quetta, on Monday (9 April 2012).

According to Levies Force officials, local people informed the Levies Force that two dead bodies were lying dumped in Lakhurain area of Khuzdar. At this, Levies personnel rushed to the site and moved the dead bodies to local hospital for autopsy where they were identified as Abdul Wahab resident of Zehri and Shah Nawaz resident of Peshk areas of Khuzdar districts.

Bashir Khan Qureshi’s sudden and untimely tragic death is a major setback and a huge loss for the Sindhi nationalist movement, Sindhis and Sindh. He was a brave man, who throughout his political career fought for the fundamental rights of oppressed and downtrodden Sindhi people. He is perhaps the only Sindhi nationalist who did not play into the hands of the establishment. May God bless his soul.

Complete strike in interior Sindh over JSQM call

KARACHI: A complete shutter-down and wheel-jam strike was observed in interior Sindh and partial in the metropolis, however, Sindhi and Baloch localities of the city were completely closed in response to the call given by the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) against what it called the federal government’s attitude of destroying substantiation of the suspected murder of deceased JSQM Chairman Bashir Khan Qureshi. JSQM has blamed the government for delaying Autopsy Examination Report (AER) and changing the viscera samples taken from the deceased’s body.
