Occupied Balochistan: Two more bullet-riddled dead bodies of Baloch missing persons, including that of a nephew of the late former Chairman of BNM Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, were found in Murgaap area in Turbat on Saturday, police said
According to a police constable, Barkat Baloch, police received information about the presence of two dead bodies in Murgaap area. The local administration, police and Balochistan levies rushed to the spot and shifted the corpses to District Headquarter Hospital, Turbat.
One of the deceased was identified as Asif Baloch s/o Mohammad Yusuf, resident of Mand, nephew of the Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch. The other victim was identified as Abu Bakar Baloch s/o Yar Mohammad, resident of Nokabad area of Turbat city. “The victims were brutally tortured before they were killed,” hospital sources said, adding the victims were shot twice in their heads and chests. It may be reminded that the late Ghulam Mohammad Baloch was whisked away from the office of Kachkol Baloch, former opposition leader, in the main Turbat Bazaar along with two others and their bullet-riddled dead bodies were spotted a week after their abduction.
Asif Baloch was whisked away, on 28-05-2011, from Karachi by armed men, when he was having dinner at Gron Plaza Hotel Saddar Karachi at around 8:30 pm. While 25 years old Abu Bakar Baloch was abducted on 06-08-2011 from Gwadar Zero point by Pakistani intelligence agencies while he was travelling to Turbat from Gwadar on a passenger van.
Meanwhile, complete shutter down strike was observed in Makran division on Saturday in condemnation of the recovery of bullet-riddled corpses in Mastung, Pasni, and Hub besides killings of people of Baloch origin in custody in large numbers. It may be mentioned here that four dead bodies, including three of BSO-Azad activists, were found, while two corpses, including that of a BNP activist, were found from Hub Township area on Thursday. Similarly, two bodies of BNM workers were found from Pasni port city on Friday.
Moreover, Human Rights Commission Special Task Force (Makran) said in a press release that Pakistan military have killed 12 Baloch youths under custody in last 48 hours. HRCP Task force further said that in last couple of days five more Baloch youths have been abducted from different parts of Balochistan, including Ghaffar s/o Mohammad resident of Gayab Mand, Hameed s/o Majeed resident of Solo Mand, Amjad s/o Dad Ullah resident of Gayab Mand , Majeed s/o Shahban Gayab Mand and Raheem Jan s/o Mohammad Ameen resident of Buleda.We fear their lives are at high risk and HRCP also appealed to recover all Baloch missing persons.
