Occupied Balochistan, Khuzdar: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Faizuddin Sasoli was shot dead and three others were injured in an attack in Khuzdar, a private TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the TV channel, Sasoli was travelling in his vehicle when unidentified men opened fire near the Civil Hospital. As a result, the PPP leader, his aide and two others were seriously injured while the assailants managed to flee. All the injured were shifted to the Khuzdar Hospital, where Sasoli succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by the doctors.
According to the TV channel, police registered a case and have started investigation. Incidents of target killing in Balochistan have intensified to an alarming extent nowadays.Meanwhile spokesman of Baloch Liberation Army Jeehand Baloch claimed the responsiblity of the killing of Faiz Uddin Sasoli,added that he belonged to the anti Baloch arm group,and he was involved in the recent attacks on Baloch students in Khuzdar.
