A.F.B supports Hyrbyair Marri statement, calls Jangyz a ‘Bollywood villian’

WASHINGTON DC, June 20, 2010: The pro-independence American Friends of Balochistan has lauded the statement of Balochistan national hero Hyrbyair Marri in which he castigated his elder brother Jangyz Marri for becoming a tout of the Pakistani establishment.

“For quite too long, Baloch notable families have played a double game. They secretly did business with Islamabad on the one hand, while posing as champions for the Baloch cause on the other. This trend is still in place. But Hyrbyair Marri has made it clear one can not have the best of both worlds when the Baloch people are giving yeoman sacrifices for realization of their dream of national independence,” the A.F.B. said in a statement Sunday.

The pro-independence group said Jangyz Marri had sold his soul to the infamous Inter-Services Intelligence becoming a slave of money and comfort while his father, legendary Baloch leader Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri was still in exile in Afghanistan. The organization said it is privy to information that Jangyz marri had even conspired to physically annihilate the legendary leader Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri, who is the main icon of the Balochistan liberation movement, on the I.S.I.’s bidding while Nawab Marri was in Afghanistan.

“Jangyz Marri would go down as a villain in history in the same dustbin like the greedy parasites Sardar Sanaullah Zehri and Jam Yusuf, while the Baloch people are confident that Hyrbyair Marri, along with Brahumdagh Bugti and Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch, will be among those who would lead the Baloch people to their destined goal of liberation,” the A.F.B. said.

Jangyz Marri broke the record of corruption in Balochistan when he became the communications minister in 1994 and illegally occupied the homes of his neighbors in Quetta,shattering the Baloch tradition of respect for neighbors. “His political character is akin to a national traitor; a greedy feudal despot who has no feeling for the less fortunate Baloch and Marris,” the A.F.B. said. “Jangyz Marri conjures up the image of a villain most commonly seen in Bollywood movies.”

The pro-independence organization said everyone knows President Asif Ali Zardari’s father Hakim Ali Zardari is a third-rate Sindhi politician, who had always licked the boots of military generals, while Nawab Marri is reverred by the Baloch masses for his stance on Balochistan independence. But in public, Jangyz Marri is seen licking the boots of Asif Ali Zardari and this is a shame for all Baloch.

The A.F.B. said Hyrbyair Marri’s statement was a trailblazer for Balochistan and appealed to other notable figures in Balochistan to follow his footsteps and disown the traitors and fifth column in their family.

In contrast, Janyz Marri allegations against Hyrbyair Marri is not new as his masters in the I.S.I. has always propagated that Balochistan indepdence struggle is foreign inspired and funded.

Just like Jangyz Marri, another national traitor among the Marris is Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, who was once a prominent guerilla leader.
