Occupied Balochistan: Two young girls, both sisters, aged 11 and 13, were severely injured on Tuesday evening in an acid attack while they were on their way home from a shopping centre in Dalbandin City, district Chaghai, Balochistan. They were rushed to a local hospital for initial medical aid, after which they were referred to the Civil Hospital Quetta, around seven hours away by road.
The Hong Kong-based Asian Human Rights Commisison (AHRC) demanded the Pakistan government to take immediate action on the re-disappearance of Murad Marri; get his release from the law enforcement authorities and initiate an enquiry into cases where arrested persons are kept incommunicado for extracting confessional statements.
QUETTA: A suicide bomber killed 10 people, including a TV journalist and senior police officials, in a suspected sectarian attack inside a hospital in Pakistan’s southwestern city of Quetta on Friday.
The students wing of Punjabi political leader Nawaz Sharif, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan has attacked Baloch students in Government College of Technology Faisalabad’s hostel, badly injuring Ahsan Baloch, Chengez Baloch, Ahmed Baloch and Ajmal Baloch, who are members of Baloch Student Organization (Azaad). The planned assaulters warned all the Baloch students to leave Punjab immediately and chanted slogans against veteran Baloch leader Baba Khair Buksh Marri, Balochistan and Baloch people.
