KARACHI : A large number of people including women and children took out a rally in protest against search operation and arrests in Lyari, Aaj News reported on Sunday.
The protesters, led office bearers of Peoples’ Peace Committee of Lyari after marching through different roads reached at Karachi Press club where they staged a protest demonstration. They also raised slogans against the government.
Police resorted to baton-charge against protesters at II Chundrigar Road.
