65 years old Baloch missing person bullet-riddled body found in Balochistan

Balochistan: The bullet-riddled body of 65 years old Baloch Missing Person was found dumped in a deserted area near Tump Tehsil of Kech district on Wednesday (May 22, 2013) morning. At least five Baloch missing people’s bullet-riddled bodies were found in different areas of Balochistan and Karachi for the last three days.

According the sources, a mutilated body was found in the deserted area of Tump Tehsil. The body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities; there he was identified as Basham Baloch, 65 years old, son of Kahoor Baloch resident of Tump Tehsil.

Bullet-ridden bodies found in Karachi have been identified as Baloch Missing Persons

Karachi: Two mutilated bodies that were discovered in Mangho Peer area of Karachi on 19 May have been identified as that of Hanif and Nawaz Marri Baloch on Tuesday.

The victims were residents of Hub town of Balochistan and were reportedly abducted few months ago. However, the exact date of their abduction could not be ascertained immediately.

The bodies were kept at the Edhi morgue for identification since their recovery.

Karachi: Two trussed-up bodies still not identified

Karachi: Bullet-riddled bodies of two men were found in Manghopir on Sunday (19 May 2013), police said.

The trussed-up bodies also bore torture marks.

The bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where their identity could not be ascertained immediately.

Five Bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing found including two brother

Balochistan – May 19: Two bullet-riddled bodies of two Baloch missing brothers were recovered from Kech district of Balochistan on Sunday (19 May 2013)morning.

According to sources from Turbat, passersby spotted two bodies in Murgaap area, 35 kilometers south of Turbat town of district Kech.

Repeating Balochistan in Sindh

The recent spate of violence in Sindh attained yet another traumatic dimension when the brutalised bodies of two young students were found in Dadu district. In a typical Balochistan-styled episode, both activists of a nationalist party, Amir Khahawar and Sajjad Markhand, were picked up in Larkano a few days ago and their tortured bodies were later found on the roadside.

National media, being too occupied with election mania, ignored the incident but the grisly news made rounds on Sindhi television channels. In a similar incident, another political activist, Muzaffar Bhutto, was found dead after a protracted disappearance and four other activists were killed near Sanghar in broad daylight.

For Baloch nationalists, the province was made to join Pakistan at gunpoint. Now, it appears, after a sixth decade long insurgency, it will be made to enter elections at gunpoint. The consequences, it must be said with regret, are fated.

On May 1, 2013, 22,000 troops and 50,000 ‘law enforcers’ entered 12 districts of Balochistan to “conduct a free-and-fair election”. The existing number of troops in the areas shall not be revealed to us, nor the fact that de facto these areas had been no-go areas for the military since the current Baloch insurgency started in 2005. With the entry of troops, the possibility of free-and-fair elections in the province has ended. Rather the Baloch people shall have elections shoved down their throats with a gun to their head.

4 Mutilated bodies of abducted Baloch found in a single day.

Occupied Balochista: Mutilated bodies of Hafeez Baloch, Rauf Baloch, Akbar Baloch and Adnan Baloch were found from Panjgur, Trubat and Khuzdar respectively.

According to details Abdul Rauf s/o Mohd Shareef, a 6 grade student, resident of Panjgur has been diapered for many days, his family claimed that there son was abducted by state forces as the abduction of Baloch youth by state forces has become a daily routine, on the morning of Tuesday 24 April his body was found at Duznap area of Panjgur.

State Atrocities against Baloch Civilians Continue Under Pretence of Elections

Toronto, April 22: Baloch Human Rights Council (Canada) has expressed serious concerns related to the rising tide of Pakistan state atrocities against civilians across Balochistan. BHRC noted that not a day goes by when Baloch activists belonging to various nationalist and pro-independence organisations are not picked up, subjected to torture, target-killed, and their mutilated bodies dumped in different locations in Balochistan and Karachi.
