Eight persons including a woman and a child killed during Pakistan military offensives in Balochistan

Occupied Balochistan: At least eight innocent Baloch including a child and a woman have been killed by Pakistan’s armed forces in different areas of Balochistan on Monday.

Sources reported that Pakistani forces raided and attacked a house in Besima area of Balochistan. Two occupants, Mr Qasum Baloch and his sister Rozina Baloch, were killed due indiscriminate firing and shelling on their house.

Military operations in Balochistan continue, 7 Baloch civilians killed in latest offensives

Earlier today Baloch Republican Party (BRP) spokesperson Sher Mohammad reported that Pakistani armed forces launched deadly operations in several parts of Balochistan including Kalat, Mastung, Manguchar, Isplinji, Nagahi, Koh-e-Maran, Khuzdar, Diagh and adjoining areas. Observers say a large number of military and para-military personnel blocked both entrances and exits to the areas and proceeded to bombard the civilian Baloch populations with heavy shelling from gunship helicopters. A Quetta source reported sighting two Hughes helicopters flying southeast in the morning. BalochJohd reported that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets and gunship helicopters participated in the hours-long bombardment and that the army was carrying out house-to-house raids. These raids invariably end with the abduction of persons who disappear into Pakistan’s labyrinth deep state security system.

Protest against Pakistan’s barbarism in Balochistan

London, August 08: The barbarism of Pakistani security agencies in Balochistan continues to infuriate the Baloch people. A Human Rights Watch report titled “We can Torture, Kill, or Keep You for Years’: Enforced Disappearances by Pakistan Security Forces in Balochistan” exposes the fact that Pakistani agencies are responsible for widespread disappearances of Baloch political activists. The 32-page report slams Pakistan authorities for taking people into custody and then denying all responsibility or knowledge of their fate or whereabouts. The rights group investigated several cases in which uniformed personnel of the Frontier Corps, an Interior Ministry paramilitary force, and the police were involved in abducting Baloch nationalists.
