Occupied Balochistan – May 11: The bullet-riddled dead bodies of five Baloch missing persons have been recovered from Panjgur, Quetta and Khuzdar districts of the Balochistan. The mutilated bodies of Sattar Baloch, Safeer Baloch and Agha Abid Shah found from Panjgur. In another case, the mutilated body of a member of the Baloch Students Organization (Azaad), Tariq Karim Baloch, was found in Quetta, while the fifth bullet riddled body of the Baloch missing person found from the Rabia Khuzdari road and was identified as Mohammad Jan S/o Bilal Ahmed, was abducted few days back by the Pakistani forces from Khuzdar.
According to the sources, Dr. Agha Abid Shah, a former vice chairman of the Baloch Students Organization Azaad (BSO-A), Abdul Sattar Baloch, a government school teacher and Safeer Baloch, all three natives of Panjgur, had been whisked away together by the personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) some nine months ago from Panjgur town. According to the initial reports, their bullet-riddled dead bodies have been found in Panjgur. Local sources said it seemed that the victims had been killed some time ago before being dumped in mountainous parts of Chitkan area, because the bodies were badly decomposed. Members of the missing persons families recognized the victims by their cloths and shoes.
The family members of these missing persons had been protesting in front of press clubs in Karachi and Quetta demanding to the human rights groups to take notice of their loved ones enforced disappearance.
Tariq Karim, an activist of the BSO-A who had been whisked away by the Pakistani intelligence agencies from Al-Rauf Royal City, Block 19, Flat no. C-614, Gulistan-e-Johar Karachi on 21st October at 4am with two other friends. It should be noted that previously the Pakistani forces killed the Tariq Karim’s younger brother Asim Kareem in custody and his bullet riddled body was found on 31st October 2010, he was also a member of BSO-Azaad.
While condemning the fresh killings, the Baloch National Front (BNF) has given the call for a complete shutter down strike and decided to block the Sindh- Balochistan Highway.
